We are happy to announce the 2012 Upstate South Carolina Spring Weekend! We are thrilled that we are able to host this event for the fifth year! Our past visitors have majorly contributed to the success of this event — we could not host it if you didn’t attend. Everyone’s enthusiasm creates an atmosphere that many have commented is “like a mini-Feast.” We hope this year will be no exception. So we invite you to join the Anderson Congregation in kicking off God’s Spring Holy Days at the Upstate South Carolina Spring Weekend!
We are eager to make this year the best ever. To that end, we are continuing with many of our traditional activities, and adding a few new ones to the mix as well.
For those who arrive Thursday afternoon or early Friday, we are offering a bike ride on Greenville’s Swamp Rabbit Trail on Friday afternoon. We will return in plenty of time to get ready for the Night to be Much Observed dinner, hosted at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
Saturday, enjoy a relaxing morning of study, brunch, and fellowship, then join fellow brethren in the afternoon for the First Day of Unleavened Bread service. Following the Holy Day service, we will once again host the banquet & ball. The Holy Day service, banquet and ball will all take place at the Hyatt Regency.
Finally, on Sunday enjoy a day at Cleveland Park. We will host the Third Annual 5K Road Race, followed by our Fifth Annual Softball Tournament. After working up an appetite, we will partake of a fried chicken picnic lunch, then burn off those calories with a stroll to Falls Park. Those interested may visit the Greenville Zoo, located in the park, at their leisure.
We hope that you will join us in making this the most successful Spring Weekend yet!
